Judy's June Jewelry

Judy has been busy working on some new jewelry pieces. Here's a preview of some things you may see soon on our etsy site. The preview pictures aren't great, because, well, she doesn't have one of those fancy photo studios described in a previous post! But this should give a good idea of what's coming.

About Us

Laura Arns has been making glass sculptures, beads, and other items for over 7 years. She has learned from some of the best, including Lucio Bubacco, Loren Stump, Steve Sizelove, Robert Mickelson, Steve Sherer, Tom and Sage Holland, and others. In "real life" she is a computer scientist working in computer graphics and virtual reality. Glass work is a great outlet for her more creative side. In her copious spare time she enjoys motorcycles, football and other sports, spending time with her husband and her cat, and music. She never met a hobby she didn't like.

Judy Nelson (Laura's mom) has been making handmade jewelry for over 6 years. She enjoys many creative activities including sewing, quilting, stained glass, and machine embroidery. She previously ran a sewing and alterations business and has made countless bridesmaid dresses and hemmed hundreds of band and choir students' dresses. Her free time is spent spoiling her adorable grandchildren. In her "previous life" she was a teacher - of physical education, swimming, piano, and much more.
